In an epic turn of events, this fermented tea drink has shown to be an effective combatant against type II diabetes. Kombucha started gaining popularity in the 90s when it proved to reduce inflammations, and improved immunity. However, fairly recent studies have shown that kombucha helps reduce glucose in the blood and thus, sugar levels over the period of time when the test was conducted. consumption could help ward off something as dangerous as diabetes. The test not only opened a new gateway for recovery of people with diabetes but also established the grounds for further research on treatment of high sugar and other related complications.
